Information Technology

The Belmont-Redwood Shores School District Information Technology Department is to provide innovative and accessible technology in computing, media and telephone services to enable the students, parents, and staff of BRSSD to effectively meet their goals as a learning community. The Information Technology Department works collaboratively with Educational Services, Special Programs and Human Resources Department and the BRSSD community to provide technological leadership which emphasizes empowerment of the individual through the use of technology.

Director of Technology

Jerome Simon

Responsible for all aspects of information technology for the district; planning, implementation, maintenance, and support of computer systems, data networks, software, business system, library system, e-mail system and Internet access. Review and approve all requests for computer hardware and software purchases.

Technology Technicians

Vincent Davi | Alex Rios

Answers help desk questions from staff; manages user accounts; helps with additions to infrastructure; assists with AERIES student information system; troubleshoots and repairs existing infrastructure and old technology; computers, data network and software. Installs new technology; computers, network components and software.
