SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH

At its June 1st meeting, the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District Board of Trustees selected Human Capital Enterprises (HCE) to lead the search for the District’s next Superintendent. HCE brings extensive experience supporting school districts through leadership transitions and superintendent searches across California.

The Board is committed to conducting a thoughtful, inclusive, and transparent search process that reflects the priorities, values, and aspirations of our community. Over the coming weeks and throughout the summer, HCE will work with the Board to engage staff, families, students, and community members through a variety of opportunities designed to gather feedback and perspectives.

Community input will play an important role in helping the Board identify the qualities, experiences, and leadership characteristics most important in our next Superintendent. That feedback will help shape the leadership profile and guide the recruitment and selection process.

As part of this process, HCE will conduct focus groups with stakeholder representatives and provide opportunities for broader participation through an online survey. Information about these opportunities, including how to participate in focus groups and access the survey, will be shared through the District website, ParentSquare, staff communications, and other District communication channels in the coming weeks.  Please check the district website, email and ParentSquare for updates on these opportunities. The Board is also actively working to identify an Interim Superintendent who will serve during the transition period. Our goal is to ensure continuity, stability, and strong support for students, staff, and families while the search is underway.
