Ralston Avenue and Tahoe Drive Signalization and Improvement Project

The Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, in collaboration with the City of Belmont, will be making improvements to the intersection at Ralston Avenue and Tahoe Drive and along Ralston Middle School during Spring and Summer 2018.  Improvements are intended to ease traffic congestion during school drop-off and pick-up, improve pedestrian walkways, and enhance public safety through signalization and signage.

About the Project

This intersection improvement project will take place over four phases: (1) project kick-off, community input, and draft plan, (2) draft plan refinement and engineering, (3) construction strategy and contractor selection, and (4) construction. Improvements to the Tahoe/Ralston intersection are expected to be complete in Fall 2018.
