Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.  In the Spring of 2016, the Board of Trustees authorized a new volunteer clearance process, which requires volunteers who may be alone with students to have fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice. The benefit of this new system is that your fingerprint clearance will be valid for your entire time in Belmont-Redwood Shores--you only have to be fingerprinted once.  As we continue to update our volunteer database, we ask all prospective volunteers to complete the volunteer form below.

Please note that most forms of TB verification are only valid for 4 years, please view this chart to understand the different types of verification and the length for which they are valid.

It is possible there may be an error with the date within our volunteer list or that your record may have not been properly updated.  Please complete this short form to provide your contact information and we will review your request to make any necessary corrections to your status.

I need to provide a recent copy of my TB verification. How can I do this without going to my School or the District office?

I no longer have any students attending BRSSD and wish to remove my name from the volunteer list. How can I do this?

You can submit a request here to have your name removed from the BRSSD Volunteer List. You will need to complete the volunteer process if you submit this form and wish to volunteer with BRSSD in the future.

Why am I not listed as a Level 3 volunteer, I have provided my School site with proof of insurance for my vehicle?

Level 3 status is for those that will be transporting students during a field trip and is dependent on the status of CA drivers license and vehicle insurance policy. You will need to submit the following additional information prior to your trip. We advise that you only submit this information prior to your trip, it is only valid for the length of the policy.

  • Complete a Personal Vehicle Use Form, this form can be found at this link.

  • Evidence of auto insurance for a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 for bodily injury per accident and $50,000 in property damage per accident. Policy must be current!

Please coordinate with your child's teacher in advance of your field trip to have the above information verified.
