Parcel Tax Information

Measure R

On November 5, 2013, District voters approved a parcel tax (Measure R) to support Belmont-Redwood Shores School District students and schools.  The parcel tax is set at $174 per year for 10 years, beginning with the 2015-2016 tax year and continuing through the 2024-25 tax year.  See below for more information.

On June 5, 2018, District voters approved a parcel tax (Measure K) to support Belmont-Redwood Shores School District students and schools. The parcel tax is set at $118 per year for 5 years (2018-2019 to 2022-2023).

General Obligation Bond Information

Measure I (2014)

On November 4, 2014, voters residing within the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District passed Measure I.  Measure I is a $48,000,000 bond measure that authorizes funding for needed repairs, upgrades, and new construction projects to the District’s schools. Proposition 39 required a 55% supermajority for approval; Measure I was passed by 63.25%.  See below for more information.
